The aim of Evion’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach is to align the Company’s social and environmental activities now, and in the future, with its business goals and values.
Evion Group understands that human rights are relevant to the economic, social and environmental aspects of corporate activity. The Company commits to respecting the rights of all its stakeholders in the development and operation of all of its Projects, while meeting strict compliance with IFC Performance Standards on environmental and social sustainability.
The Company has developed a culture of inclusion with local populations, Government authorities, contractors and employees worldwide to understand their ambitions, interests and concerns throughout the development phases it has undertaken to date. Stakeholder engagement will continue to be a priority to the Company as it ultimately moves further into the implementation phase and beyond.
Evion Group has entered into a Strategic Partnership ("the Partnership") with Circulor to measure and manage its supply chain visibility across the entire process of its graphite concentrate production and downstream products. The Partnership shall assist in positioning Evion Group as a global supplier-of-choice for Graphite into the EV industry.
The Company also annually undertakes an independent Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessment by UK based specialist group, Digbee ESG.
Evion Group deems this an important part of its overall risk management process and uses it to plan activities which help to minimize and or mitigate current and future risks.
